TIP #2: Watch for the Potty Sign. Learn to recognizing the signs that your Pitbull Puppy needs to potty. One of the easiest signs to spot this is the sniffing. Excessive sniffing of the ground is one way to tell that your puppy is thinking about going potty. Pick the pup up and take them to their designated potty place.

Their elimination schedule will depend upon when they last ate or drank water; rambunctious physical activity; and the big unknown – personal preference! Tip #4: Give your puppy frequent access to his toilet area, so that he learns where to go. Reward the pup for peeing or pooping in the right place – use a special treat. Never punish the pup for house-training “mistakes” – scolding has dire consequences.
